The purpose of this Travel Grant is to heighten the profile of Danish songwriters, composers, producers and lyricists abroad and to strengthen their cooperation with international partners in Denmark.
Who can apply?
The Travel Grant scheme welcomes applications from all songwriters, composers, producers and lyricists who are members of Koda and who have specific plans abroad or specific plans involving foreign stakeholders in Denmark.
What can I apply for?
The Travel Grant offers funding for sessions, meetings or collaborative activities abroad and for activities involving foreign lyricists in Denmark.
What must I include in my application?
An application, one page or less (to be submitted as a PDF file)
An audio file providing an example of your work
Your application should be specific: name the relevant actors involved, describe a specific assignment/task to be undertaken, and/or describe your planned cooperation with producers, artists, etc. abroad.

Details about the funding
If you are awarded a grant, you will receive a pledge for support; this pledge will remain valid for one year from the date on which your grant was awarded. If your project is not completed within a year, you can request an extension. Extensions are granted for a maximum of one year from the date of your request to have your pledge extended.
Getting a pledge means that the grant will be paid out when we receive the relevant documentation (receipts, agreement, invoices etc.). Please note that the grant does not cover daily allowances.
If you wish to use the grant for a different purpose than the one stated in your application, you must first get permission to do so from the grant committee.
When can I expect a reply?
You will receive a reply to your application approximately two months after the application deadline.
