The purpose of the ‘Spil Dansk’ concert grants is to support and promote Danish music in general.

All music publishers who are members of Koda can submit applications to the ‘Spil Dansk’ Concerts Grant
What can I apply for?
Music publishers can apply for funding towards their own authors’ ‘Spil Dansk’ concerts. Such concerts are part of the ‘Spil Dansk’ (‘Play Danish Music’) awareness week – a recurring event taking place every year in late October/early November (week 44).
What must I include in my application?
A project description (one page or less)
A budget (including revenues and any other foundations/grant schemes approached for funding)
A presentation of the publisher submitting the application, including the most important authors associated with the company

Details about the funding
We wish to spread our support among many recipients, so each author can receive funding for a maximum of two concerts per year from Musikforlæggerne. However, funding for ‘Spil Dansk’ concerts does not count towards the total maximum number of grants/applications per author per year. Payments are made in accordance with current DMF’s tariffs; grants for a single concert cannot exceed DKK 15,000.
When can I expect a reply?
You will receive a reply to your application approximately one month after the application deadline.
