The purpose of the Releases grant is to support the release of works by the applying music publisher’s own authors. Funding is primarily awarded to recordings aimed at physical and/or digital albums, EPs, singles.

All music publishers who are members of Koda can apply for funding from the Releases grant.
Music publishers can apply for funding for releases featuring their own authors as well as for projects launched by the relevant music publisher itself. Funding is primarily awarded to support the recording process, not production. Re-releases are not eligible for funding. Please note that a given author cannot receive funding from this grant more than twice in any given year.
A project description (one page or less)
A budget (including revenues and any other foundations/grant schemes approached for funding)

Each individual author can receive funding from this grant no more than twice within a given year. A music publisher can submit a maximum of 10 applications for each application round, except in the case of special projects. It is possible to submit applications for funding for projects that have already been completed; however, the application must be submitted during the year in which the relevant project was completed.
