The purpose of the Courses and Educatoin grant is to promote further development and growth within the industry and to help publishers and their staff raise their skills and gain new insights.

All music publishers who are members of Koda can apply for funding from the Courses and education grant.
The music publishers can apply for funding for courses that are relevant to the music industry and where the publisher and the employee(s) taking part in the course share a common goal. The courses must consist in adult education and skills enhancement relevant to the music industry, for example within the field of copyright.
A project description (one page or less)
A budget (including revenues and any other foundations/grant schemes approached for funding)
A presentation of the publisher submitting the application, including the most important authors associated with the company.
The Courses and Education grant is awarded three times a year. The deadlines are:

The funding received will cover a maximum of 50% of the total costs. No funding is provided for courses that are already subsidised by Koda.
A music publisher can submit a maximum of 10 applications for each application round, except in the case of special projects. It is possible to submit applications for projects that have already been completed; however, the application must be submitted during the year in which the relevant project was completed.
You will receive a reply to your application approximately one month after the application deadline.
